Although the trip is 7 days in total\, we do have a rest day on day 4 (Koh Mak). \nExpect to progress your kayak skills and test the capability of our top-of-the range kayaks in some of the best local natural playgrounds. Lunch times and evenings are spent in secluded bays where you can rest up\, enjoy a spot of snorkelling or make the most of the countless photography opportunities. One night of camping provides a magical outdoor experience between staying in the gorgeous resorts and home stays. \nWhat’s Included\n\nTechnical equipments with experienced local guide. ‘\nFood\, All meals on the expedition are provided apart from breakfast\, lunch\, and evening meals on the rest day(s) and familiarization day.  Clients are required to bring sufficient money to purchase their own meals on this day/s.\nDrinking water is supplied throughout the expedition\, other drinks are at your cost.\nAccommodation is provided for the familiarization day and the remaining expedition days. The night of the final day of the expedition (back on Koh Chang) is at your cost.  Accommodation is in single rooms – For shared room is for the couple only with double bed.\n\nAdditional Costs\nFood (rest days) and Travel Insurance (kayak specific). \n\nView Itinerary\nAll Expeditions begin with a Familiarisation Day\nThis day is all about getting to know each other (expedition participants and your S.E.A. Kayaking guide) and all the equipment we will be using.   \nAfter checking into your resort for the evening (as provided by S.E.A. Kayaking)\, our taxi will pick you up at your reception at 15.00 and bring you to our office.   \nAt this point\, we discuss the route and complete paperwork\, such as medical/contact forms\, and answer any questions our customers have. \nWhile we are together\, we will get fitted out with all the equipment we will be using throughout the expedition.   \nKayak\, Life Jacket\, paddle. \nWe also have time during the day\, to do any adjustments needed. The dry bags will be provided during the day for your packing. \nWe will not be on the water. \nExpedition Day \nOur taxi will pick you all up at your resort at 9.20 am and bring you to the office.  Please come ready with your kayaking kit already packed. \nThe luggage you are not taking with you on the expedition will be placed in our office\, for safe keeping whilst you are away. \nYou will need your passport for your expedition\, as the Thai government now requires all resorts to monitor their customers. \n\n\nDay 1\nSalak Phet Bay–Koh Prao Nok – Wai Chaek Beach – Bang bao 15 KM/9.3 Miles\nThe first day of expedition\, we start from the office to explore the mangrove and Salakphet bay where we are afforded a panoramic view of the islands that await us. Once we have packed our kayaks\, gear and briefed\, we set out for Salak Phet Bay\, Koh Prao Nok then continued to the Koh Chang southwest coast stopping at Wai Chaek Beach\, and finish the trip at Bang Bao. A/C/Hot Water \nDay 2\nBang Bao Beach – Koh Klum – Koh Rang 24KM/14.9 Miles\nOnce we have packed our kayaks and orientated ourselves\, we set out for the western tip of Koh Klum\, an open water crossing of 7km. Before you know it\, we have reached the first of numerous islands. After a little rock hopping and exploration\, we arrive at our next spot\, where we will enjoy lunch in Koh Klum. \nDeparting Koh Klum\, we look South over the open sea towards Koh Rang Yai. Koh Rang Yai is a protected National Park island inhabited only by the Thai navy. Now 10Km of open sea lies ahead of us before we pass/land on the idyllic Koh Ma-Pring. From here we kayak down the East coast of Koh Rang to our stunning campsite for the night. When we arrive at camp\, the tents will be up and ready to occupy and the coffee (real coffee) will be in the pot. \n\nTo facilitate a good night sleep\, S.E.A. Kayaking will provide wonderful food\, a pillow case\, sleeping bag liner\, an inflatable pillow\, Sleeping Mat\, and a small fan! \n\nDay 3: Koh Rang Yai and Circumnavigation – Koh Mak 18km/11 Mile\nA morning of underwater exploration awaits us as just around the corner from our departure are two\, first-class snorkel spots. A deep water entry allows us VIP access to the beautiful coral reefs and to the wide variety of exotic fish. After our adventure\, we re-enter our kayaks and head out on our circumnavigation of Koh Rang. \nCircumnavigating Koh Rang Yai is a delight\, with interesting rock formations and wild flora\, it is a sea kayaker’s heaven. After a rest on the Northern beach of Koh Rang\, we head East to Koh Kra\, where crystal clear water and a stunning beach await us\, and give the opportunity to enjoy some snorkeling as well as lunch (pre-packed for you). \nAfter lunch we head east to Koh Mak\, with a breathtaking Northerly view of the islands visited so far and the ones still to come\, this crossing is one to remember. As we approach the Southwestern tip of Koh Mak\, we spill out onto the South coast. With our bodies fighting fit again\, we set out for the final push along the length of the South coast to our resort for the night. A/C\, restaurant\, and hot water are included. \n\nDay 4 – Rest Day\nKoh Mak is the most beautiful of all the islands(my opinion) and exploring it is very easy.  If you choose to get out and about you have various options for transport including Taxi\, motorbike (moped)\, bicycle and of course on foot. \n\nDay 5: Koh Mak – Koh Rayang Nai – Koh Rayang Nok- Koh Kham – Koh Bai Dang– Koh Wai 21 KM/13 Miles\nFully rested we are ready to continue our journey. The first section\, we head west along the South coast and then up the magnificent West coast; where we are blessed with wonderful play opportunities\, caves\, and lava tubes. \n\nInstead of heading straight to the next island\, we continue to contour along the Koh Kham for lunch. From this point\, we have open water crossing to Koh Bai Dang (7 km) and Koh Wai (3 km) where our resort for the night awaits. \nRemark: The accommodation in Koh Wai is very limited. There is the possibility to get shared toilet options or a ruined Bangalow. The electricity is also limited not the whole night. If we get this option\, we will compensate by upgrading the quality of accommodation on other days. \n\nDay 6: Koh Wai – Koh Lao Ya Nok – Koh Ngam – Koh Wai Circumnavigation 23 KM/14 Mile \nThis is a wonderful day to explore surrounding area. We will stay on Koh Wai another night then head to Koh Lao Ya nok\, then Koh Ngam where unique shape of two small mountains joined together by a sandbar lined with coconut trees. \nAfter enjoying the packed lunch\, we will head back to Koh Lao Ya Nok for Koh Wai and making the circumnavigation. \nRemark: The accommodation in Koh Wai is very limited. The expedition is not restricted to the circumnavigation\, we are also going to be able to enjoy the delights of Koh Mak and the Island that we’ve always enjoyed on the way there and back. \nThe distance of our expedition is in excess of 150Km with the longest days kayaking around 25Km. We kayak for 8 out of the 9 days with a rest day (day 5) on Koh Mak. Setting out from the Magic Resort. We head out to the west coast Island of Koh Yuak for our first snorkeling opportunity. From here we pass Koh Pli\, Koh Man Nok and finally\, Koh Man Noi\, before joining the Koh Chang coast line and making our way to lunch at Liscar Beach. \nAfter lunch we continue along 5km of inaccessible coastline other than by the sea. Our journey down the west coast offers us ample opportunity to express ourselves. Gliding between rocks\, carving turns testing our skills against the waves\, there are challenges for all abilities during this section\, it is a JOY. \nFor our nights rest we make our way to Bang Bao Peir.  Hot water\, wifi and the best breakfast. \n\nDay 2\nBang Bao Beach – Koh Klum – Koh Rang 24KM\nFrom the beach we are afforded a panoramic view of the islands that await us. Once we have packed our kayaks and orientated ourselves\, we set out for the western tip of Koh Klum\, an open water crossing of 7km. As we approach the Northwestern tip of Koh Mak\, we spill out onto the North coast and we can then see the site of the rewarding coffee shop only 1km in front.  With our bodies fighting fit again\, we set out for the final push along the length of the North coast to our resort for the night.  A/C\, pool\, bar\, coffee shop\, restaurant and hot water are included. \n\nDay 4\nKoh Mak (north coast) – Koh Kradat – Koh Mak (south coast)  15km\nDeparting the resort we turn right towards the Eastern tip of Koh Mak. From here we set out for  Koh Kradat (Paper island) after the short 1km crossing we arrive.  Koh Kradat is only a 5km circumnavigation (optional)\, but is well worth doing\, if only to stop on the northern beaches to look at the colony of Deer.  Once completed\, we head back to Koh Mak\, and continue to contour the south coast to our resort for the next 2 nights.  Lunch will be had at one of the wonderful restaurants along the coast.  A/C\, wifi\, hot water. \n\nDay 5 – Rest Day\nKoh Mak is the most beautiful of all the islands(my opinion) and exploring it is very easy.  If you choose to get out and about you have various options for transport including Taxi\, motorbike (moped)\, bicycle and of course on foot. \n\nDay 6\nKoh Mak-Koh Bai Dang- Koh Wai  23 km\nFully rested we are ready to continue our journey. A/C\, wifi\, hot water available. \n\nDay 7\nKoh Wai – Koh Laoya Nok – Memorial Beach Salak Kok – Tara Resort 26km \nHeading East we have a short journey to our snorkelling spot on the  North coast of Koh Wai.  Having explored the coral and fish endowed waters we head out on an open water crossing of 3km to Koh Laoya Nok for a brief rest and then continue to the southern most tip of Koh Chang (4km crossing) and its Memorial Beach\, where will enjoy our lunch (packed).  From this point we keep Koh Chang on our left.  Our next stop will be Salak Kok for a deserved cold drink and ice cream.  The final push of 6km takes us past the shooting range to our resort for the night\, the beautiful Tara resort. A/C\, wifi\, hot water\, pool. \n\nDay 8\nTara Resort – Siam Bay – White Sands Beach   (25 km)\nAfter breakfast\, we continue our journey up the east coast past Tom Mai Yom Campsite and Waterfall (optional visit). Then we pass the Naval Pier\, the Government Pier and finally the Northern Pier\, before heading round the northern-most tip of Koh Chang. Lunch is at the beautiful Serenity Resort.  Once around headland\, we cross Siam Bay and make our way down the Northwest coast of Koh Chang\, which can only be described as a kayakers paddling heaven\, with wonderful opportunities to play and express ourselves to our resort for the night.  A/C\, wifi (reception only)\, hot water. \n\nDay 9\nWhite Sands   – Magic Resort via Chai Chet (11 km)\nOur final day completes our circumnavigation of Koh Chang\, kayaking down the western coast to the Magic Resort\, our final destination. \nFrom White-Sands Beach  we  head due south hugging the coast all of the way. Continuing down\, we will pass Pearl Beach\, which is a strange name as there is no beach\, then onto a rock garden were we can practice our silky-smooth skills before reaching Chai Chet for lunch (restaurant). \nAfter lunch we do the final stretch down the Khlong Plu river and then onto the Magic Resort. \n\nDistances\nDay 1 : 14.5 km\nDay 2 : 24 km\nDay 3 : 23 km\nDay 4 : 15 km\nDay 6 : 23 km\nDay 7 : 26 km\nDay 8 : 25 km \nDay 9 : 11 km \nLongest Crossing: 9.5 km \nCircumnavigations \nKoh Chang\, Koh Rang\, Koh Mak
