Why S.E.A. Kayaking?
Kayak Chang is situated in Koh Chang Marine National Park at the entrance of Magic Resort, Koh Chang. The park is a protected marine reserve and area of outstanding natural beauty with 52 islands, the largest of which is Koh Chang. Around 70% of the 650Km2 park is ocean and many of the small islands and deserted outcrops are uninhabited so kayaking is one of the best ways to explore the magnificent sea cliffs, secluded beaches, clear waters and stunning reefs.

sea kayaking in thailand I had an absolutely wondeful time with Tu, Don and the other members of the expedition. All the equipment was in excellent conditions and was happy to try out a fiber glass kayak! Everything was really good. In terms of guidance, even better. Tu and Don did everything in their hands to make the expedition really fun and enjoyable. That was just amazing.

bcu kayaking traininghonestly, I think the trip was perfect. Better than perfect - there were so many unexpected perks. We especially appreciated the efforts Don made to improve our kayaking skills, paddling, navigating, and rescue. That added so much to the trip. The gear was high quality. The food was SOOOOO good, and it was so fun to share all the different dishes. The accommodations were luxurious and we felt really spoiled to have showers every night. It was a DREAM trip!

sea kayaking trainingIt was an awesome trip. Tu and Don were very helpful, competent, polite, and lots of fun. They made me feel very safe, even when the water was rough. I liked that the accommodations were varied and that some were rustic. The food was always good and I especially liked Don's cooking on the camping night. The kayaks were the very highest quality that I have ever had on a trip. And the Werner carbon fiber paddle I used was a big surprise... the very best and very similar to the one I have at home.

We are committed to a sustainable approach to our work, to the community and to the environment
We consider the Marine National Park to be an environment that we can explore but must not exploit. We are proud of the fact that we leave only footprints and take only photographs (and other peoples rubbish). We use only local suppliers for all our expedition needs which results in a wonderful working relationship with the local community and reduced carbon foot print.
